Vision
Creating a world for future generations to be proud to call their own
Our Mission - A thriving, sustainable blue planet
Sustainably mechanizing and supporting the replenishment of our ocean’s most precious resources, driving biodiversity and creating a world for future generations to thrive in.
We are the world's first company to fully mechanise the reconstruction of the undersea world.
Over 50 percent of the world’s coral reefs have died in the last 30 years and up to 90 percent may die within the next century, we believe it doesn’t have to be this way.
The Red Sea Reef Builders were formed at the very outset of the Ocean Decade, with a group of likeminded individuals and a background in marine exploration, environmental sciences and engineering disciplines. Driven by desire to preserve the oceans most precious resources and support the growth of coral reefs as precious assets. Simply replacing what has been lost is not enough, we focus on the refurbishment of damaged reef and the creation of new coral to enhance eco friendly tourism and create globally significant impact.
The team has achieved patent pending against the worlds first mechanical process and tooling to support the rebuilding and planting of coral reef. The first of many innovations planned to be delivered by the RSRB in the area of replenishment of the earth’s ocean based carbon sinks. We aim to safely and sustainably plant coral reef infrastructure and habitat faster and safer than ever before possible by conventional methods. This will allow governments, private entities and the world to commit to environmental obligations and regenerate our oceans back into thriving, biodiverse habitat.
We truly believe that the knowledge and mechanical advancements of the human species can support the recovery of the planet just as rapidly as similar advancements have impacted it.
"As a species, Anthropocene dominance gives us as greater opportunity as it does a reason to reflect negatively on what we have done to our world. Humankind is capable of magnificent things. Now is the time, without delay, to renew our sense of purpose and focus our powers to the replenishment of the world that has sustained our existence and helped us thrive throughout the timespan of humanity.
As we enter a new geological epoch, defined by the impact of humans on the planet, we should be both proud and ashamed of our impact to the natural world. It does however give us the empowerment to engage our innovations to maintain the balance between the natural and the built environment
We again find ourselves standing at ground zero for creation with the fate of the planet truly in our hands, we can define the shape of our future existence and leave behind us a world for future generations to be proud to call home"
